The Barbican Centre is a world-class performing arts and learning centre situated in the heart of the City of London making it an ideal location for the conference. The venue is fully accessible and boasts an impressive theatre space with a lovely exhibition hall.

The Barbican Centre is easily accessible by bus from around the city; plan your journey using the TfL Interactive Bus Map. Bus Route 153 runs directly past the Barbican along Chiswell Street.
There are many cycle routes across Greater London. You can order a free cycle guide on the TfL website or use their TfL journey planner to plan your route. There are free bicycle spaces available at the entrance to Car Park 5 and exit to Car Park 3.
The venue is around 45 minutes to an hour away from any of London’s airports by public transport.
Heathrow Airport (45 minutes) – Take the Heathrow Express to Paddington and then take the Hammersmith and City Line tube to Barbican Tube Station.
Gatwick Airport (50 minutes) – Take a Thameslink train to London Bridge and then take the Northern Line tube to Moorgate and walk 8 minutes to The Barbican Centre.
Stansted Airport (1 hour) – Take the Stansted Express to Liverpool Street and then take the Metropolitan Line tube to Barbican Tube Station.
London City Airport (40 minutes) – Take the DLR from the airport to Bank Tube Station and then take the Central Line tube to Moorgate Tube Station and walk 8 minutes to the venue.
Luton Airport (45 minutes) – Take one of the special connecting buses from the airport to Luton rail station. Take one of the frequent Thameslink trains to Farringdon and walk 12 minutes to The Barbican Centre.
We don’t recommend you travel to the venue by car, as it’s within the congestion charging zone. It’s much quicker and easier to travel to The Barbican Centre using public transport.
